It's almost BBQ time! One of the tastiest events of the year is coming to St. Robert. MO! With so many fall events getting canceled around the country and Missouri, if you're looking for some fall fun, you have to make plans to attend the Kickin' It Route 66 BBQ Challenge! This year, there will be some serious competition because the KCBS is known as the largest society of barbecue competitors and this is the first year they will be at the event! Fall is an absolutely gorgeous time of year - especially when you wind through the backroads of Pulaski County with scenic river views and stream crossings. This October, the Nasty Pulaski Gravel Grind cyclist event will be back! If you're an avid cyclist, this is an event you won't want to miss. In addition to the cycling event, Frog Hill will be hosting a Half Marathon 10K, and Leapfrog 5k the same weekend. I met Steve Ehrhardt, owner of Fort Wood Hotels, through a committee I was on in Lebanon, Missouri. I was in the Lebanon Tourism Director position at the time and worked with him on the Friends of the Fort Committee.
