Route 66 Hogs and Frogs Festival (Sept. 22nd-24th)

Waynesville's Roubidoux Park transforms into a bikers' paradise with the Route 66 Hogs and Frogs Festival. The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, MO 4-11, leads the charge in organizing bike shows and community poker runs. The festival also presents a customized motorcycle to a deserving veteran.

But that's not all. The festival brims with live bands, food stalls, craft vendors, and even tattoo artists! Don your 40s-50s pinup attire for the Miss Croaker contest or show off your beard in the Beard & Exotic Hair Contest. Chefs can vie for the 'Golden Ticket' at the Show Me World Food Competition, which can lead to the national showdown in Dallas, Texas!

Take advantage of a special rate for Hogs and Frogs at Comfort Inn & Fairfield Inn - only $104! Just call to book and ask for the Hogs & Frogs Rate.

Dixon Cow Days (Sept. 15th-16th)

"Shake Your Moo Thang" at Dixon Cow Days, the only festival in Missouri where you can win a cow—yes, an actual cow! The event, organized by the Dixon Chamber of Commerce, is perfect for families. Enjoy live music ranging from country to alternative rock. Highlights include the Youth Pageant and Mullet Contest, Merchant Cow Giveaway, and cornhole games. Don't forget the raffle cow giveaway that wraps up the evening's festivities.

Crocker Railroad Days (Sept. 9th)

Celebrate Pulaski County’s rich rail history at Crocker Railroad Days. The event features a parade, food and craft vendors, and live music. Engage in the Big Mid Missouri Car Show, Greased Pig Contest, and Railroad Days Pageant. Don't miss the parade along Hwy 17 starting at 11 AM or the live performance by Midlife Crisis Band.
