Read on to learn about her journey to being promoted to General Manager at Fairfield by Marriott and some fun facts about her! How did you get started with Fort Wood Hotels? I began my journey with Fort Wood Hotels on April 29th, 2009 when I excitedly got to start my first job as a housekeeper at the Fairfield Inn. In 2011, I got promoted as the Executive Assistant at Hampton Inn. After a little over 10 months, I transitioned back to the Fairfield Inn as the Executive Housekeeper until 2015, when I moved to Front Desk Manager. In February 2020, I was promoted to General Manager. When starting at Fort Wood Hotels, I did not envision myself to be in the position I am in today. In an especially picturesque scene, the road squeezes between the Big Piney river and the former Possum Lodge resort before climbing back to Highway 28 positioned on the ridge above. Are you looking for some unique fall fun? Relish in the Mother Road’s glory days during the 4th Annual Route 66 Challenge October 10th in Pulaski County, Missouri! This fun event is presented by the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce and open to everyone! Enjoy sights along the 33 miles of Route 66 in Pulaski County. Read on to get all the details for this fun event!  2020 Route 66 Challenge  October 10th, 2020  How It Works  There will be 8 total Adventures, Detours are optional. Points are given out upon completion of each Adventure at the Adventure scoring. Earn points by successfully solving trivia and completing tasks packed into "Adventure Envelopes". All Adventures are REAL and required to complete the competition. However, not every Detour is a real opportunity for points. The day begins with an Adventure Envelope which contains everything needed for the first Adventure and Detour clues. Additional Adventure envelopes are provided throughout the competition.
