Fort Wood Hotels is getting excited as we gear up for the Route 66 100 mile yard sale! This is a brand new event for the area and we couldn't be more excited about it! The 100 mile Route 66 Yard Sale will take place on Friday, August 2nd and Saturday, August 3rd. Fort Wood Hotelswill be participating in the Route 66 Yard Sale on Saturday, August 3rd at our Liberty Lodge St Robert/Fort Leonard Wood hotel. When visiting Fort Leonard Wood, one of the frequent questions we get from our hotel guests is, "Where should we eat?" Since this is such a popular question that we get, we thought we would write an entire blog about it! We stayed here for the first time last night as we were traveling home from visiting our son and his wife in Texas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were so clean, with comfortable pillows, which is always important to me!
