The John B. Mahaffey Museum Complex is comprised of six self-guided tours.
1) Memorial Grove Park By Museum, Fort Leonard Wood, MO
You can visit the grove just about any time of day when the weather is nice and
you will see people of all ages paying homage to our Regiment’s heroes as well
as all MPs past, present, and future. The MPRA’s effort to call attention to
the men and women of our ranks has really paid off. There is no doubt that
Memorial Grove has truly become a place of remembrance.
2) Military Police Corps Museum
This mission of the Military Police Corps Museum is to
preserve the history of the MP Corps. Throughout the museum, you will find
interactive displays, authentic audio recordings, and artifacts.
3) Engineer Corps Museum
The Corps history dates to the Revolutionary War and showcases
dioramas, artifacts, and other displays.
4) Military Vehicle Complex
The Military Vehicle complex displays various military
vehicles and equipment, along with a brief history of each item.
5) WWII Mobilization Area
The WWII Mobilization Area features WWII era buildings
including barracks, a mess hall, and chapel. Many of the buildings on-premise
are open for a self-guided walking tour. The history of this installation
allows you to experience what the life of a Soldier at Fort Leonard Wood would
be like.
#6 Chemical Corps Museum
