Choice Privileges® Program Update: Expanded Benefits for Program Members

If you're already a Choice Privileges Program Member, you know it pays to be loyal! We understand in these uncertain times, using your hard-earned points may not be possible right now. That's why Choice Privileges is expanding their benefits to ensure our members are still getting great value from our loyalty program. Below is a series of enhancements that build on the existing program feature. 

Flexible Points Redemption 

If you have points that are about to expire, you will be able to redeem these points through December 31, 2020. 

Reduced Elite Status Requirements

Due to reduced travel, Choice Privileges is reducing the number of nights members are required to stay in 2020 to qualify for elite status in 2020. You can now achieve elite status for the following nights stayed:
    • Gold status after staying seven nights, as opposed to 10 nights.
    • Platinum status after staying 15 nights, as opposed to 20 nights.
    • Diamond status after staying 25 nights, as opposed to 40 nights.
Each tier qualifies you for bigger and better benefits! 

Upgrades and Extensions for Gold and Platinum Members 

Choice Privileges is automatically upgrading Gold and Platinum Members! Effective June1st-December 31st, 2020, Gold members will be upgraded to Platinum and Platinum members to Dimond.
    • Upgraded members who stay at least five nights by December 31, 2020, can maintain this enhanced status through December 31, 2021.
    • Upgraded members who stay less than five nights by December 31, 2020, will revert to original status, prior to the upgrade, and maintain it through December 31, 2021.

Extensions and Bonus Points for Diamond Members 

Choice Privileges is extending the status of current Diamond members through December 31st, 2020 by offering a 10% bonus on top of their existing 50% bonus on points earned through December 31st, 2020. 

Join with the Status Match Program! 

The Status Match Program allows members to match their elite status from another major hotel rewards program to the Choice Privileges Program!

In addition to enhancing their rewards programs, Choice Hotels is enhancing its cleaning standards to ensure the safety of guests and employees!
