With over 100 miles of Ozarks Mountain rivers in Pulaski County alone, you may be curious which river you should enjoy during your stay. The Big Piney River is known for being family-friendly and known for some of the BEST fishing streams for Smallmouth Bass. Enjoy over 21 miles of river that flows through the Mark Twain National Forest!

Have your own kayaks and want to set off on an adventure on your own? Public access to the scenic Big Piney River is available at Ross Access.

Use this resource, Float Missouri, to plan your trip and learn more about the river! You'll find the public access points for putting in and taking out!

Don't own your own boats or just want an effortless trip? Leave your paddling adventures in the hands of our great Pulaski County Outfitters! Outfitters rent tubes, rafts, kayaks, canoes, and Jon Boats. They provide shuttles, life jackets, and your boat rental of choice. Float trips can range from a short 3 miles to 5-6 miles!
