Fort Wood Museums

Three museums highlighting Military history. The Chemical Museum houses over 6,500 artifacts. The Engineer Museum represents the roles of engineers. The Military Police Museum chronicles the evolution of the military police.

Military Police Corp Museum

The U.S. Army Military Police Corps Regimental Museum's main mission is to focus on the American Military Police Soldier and the Military Police Branch history by collecting, preserving, interpreting, and exhibiting historic artifacts.

Chemical Corp Museum

The U.S. Army Chemical Corps Museum features artifact exhibits, immersion dioramas, graphics, and text, displayed in a 9,000 square foot gallery, to relate to our visitors the history of the Corps from 1917 to the present.

Engineer Museum

The U.S. Army Engineer Museum is a federal museum, chartered through the United States Army. We offer a variety of gallery displays including: WWII temporary mobilization buildings, the development of American Army engineering equipment, topographic engineering, landmine warfare, tactical bridging, special weapons, and much more.

African American Soldiers Memorial and U.S.O Chimney

An outdoor commemorative memorial for the U.S.O. Club for Colored Soldiers located along Missouri Ave, St. Robert.


Fort Waynesville

Historical marker, marking where Fort Waynesville was located. The fort, built on a bluff in 1862 provided protection to the Union Army during the civil war.

Freedom Rock 

The 50 State Freedom Rock Tour, created by the artist of The Freedom Rock; Ray "Bubba" Sorensen II, aims to spread the message of thanking our Veterans while providing a Freedom Rock painting unique to the area. 

Memorial Grove

The Memorial and Walkway provide areas for the Chemical Corp, Engineers and  Military Police to commemorate and recognize units and fallen Soldiers. 



Military Rock Park

The Military Rock Art Park displays crests and symbols from units attached to Ft. Leonard Wood featuring the Freedom Rock and a M-60 Tank.  Great photo opportunities and a welcome stop for the patriotic at heart.
